Egrets
Egret paddles in search of breakfast.
High up in a enormous tree an egret does its best to avoid my camera. The Rio Gomenaro seems to be their usual haunt but the landscaping presently underway there has caused the egrets to relocate.
Update
Meanwhile the next day I find the egret down on the river and manage to get a bit closer...
... but it soon takes off.
... and the following day I get closer still.

Wow ..... you have a keen eye I have never seen an egret in Spain. The eagle looks similiar to the one we saw over the golf course. Enjoy the heat :) Cx
ReplyDeletePlenty down by Miramar but different and slightly bigger than the ones in Taiwan. The eagle looks the same as the one I photographed over the golf course with S & A, so no doubt the same one you saw. Hot, Hot...:)
